How Old Are You?

Two! with matching peace sign like in this photo (left). She just learning to do it thats why she is looking with her finger if she is doing it right.

How time flies really fast no?..it seems yesterday when I gave birth to this little angel and now she is turning 2! (tomorrow-Sept.24) Wow as in wow! celebration? nothing! :P we already had our vacation last September 5-9 at Baguio and that was it. 

Dear Baby Iris,

Happy birthday 'Nak! Parang kelan lang nag 1st birthday ka at bukas 2nd birthday mo na. As always you make mama happy, ang kulit-kulit mo na rin minsan nakaka-ubos ka rin ng pasensya sa sobrang kakulitan mo pero keribels lang ni Mama. Kahit na gaano ka pa ka-kulit love na love ka pa rin ni mama. I pray that you grow up as happy baby, a wise and GODfearing person and with a forgiving heart. Thank you baby for always making mama happy and sorry also for mama's shortcomings. Basta, I am always here for you baby no matter what. Above anything else you are the most important person in my life. Love you baby ko and happy birthday! mwah!

Lappy = Happiness

One of my price stuff is my netbook. I am not a techie person it's just so happen that having this will help me earn online also will entertain and educate my daughter. I remember I was in college already when I learn to use PC. Now, my baby knows to open my netbook and insert my broadband stick (kakatuwa). I think when she turns 2 or 3 she knows to google na :)) . She is only 1 and 7 months now and shows interest on this stuff. Future blogger lang ang peg!

As expected we are suki at Youtube. Our favorite is the Hoopla Kids nursery rhyme and Tom and Jerry. She would watch hoopla Kids and imitate the actions of the character. Our favorite song? Old McDonald Had A Farm. Iris really enjoy using my netbook.

81/366 Working Iris

Another busy day for me because  we had audit in my work. Everything goes well naman.  Thank you Lord!

73/366 Inaanak Jeannah with my Baby

This photo was taken July 30 of last year. Iris was only 10months old in here. We visited my Inaanak (godchild). The chubby one. Her name is Jeannah (pronounce as Jannah). Obviously, my baby love's the toy car..and Jeannah don't want to share it with Iris.

Iris (above) don't like Jeannah to come near her. Hehehe. She is pushing Jeannah away. 

 ..while Jeannah want to get her car. Haahaha..mga bata talaga. Iris was actually babbling that Jeannah  was trying to get the car. As if naman may magagawa ako. In the end the two kiddos get along well. Very good mga anak.

Iris with Her Jumbo Alphabet Book

It is such a delightful feeling every time I saw my baby learning new things. I think every mom does feel that way. That is why as early as now I am saving some bucks for our first vacation outside our hometown. I actually post it in my other blog (travel-postcard blog) about our plan vacation.

One of the things that I should consider in our travel is to show Iris educational places at the same time places that will not bore her something like zoo we're she can see those live animals that we only saw at youtube, movies and television. I think she would be glad to see them. Oh well let us see! I just hope she won't be scared seeing them.

..and since this will be her first long long trip I don't want to stress her so I hope we could get a hotel or vacation homes which is near to Zoo or a themepark just like I saw at Orlandoescape site which has had a very good Orlando Hotel Reviews, and not just that they also offer vacation packages which I find really cool and budget friendly.

By the way, I am sharing my baby's cuteness to Kids is Doodle. It is one of my bonding session with Iris when I am at home. She was only 11months in this photo.

Hello everyone! happy Sunday!..I have promise to join Kids in Doodle and KIDs has left 11hours before linky will close. So here I am, joining again..

Photo below taken November last year. I was in our sari sari store and  Iris was also with me. While I was busy fixing some stuff Iris was also busy doodling. She got a ballpen and a paper. She's not contented with the paper she doodle in her hand too. When I try to get the ballpen from her..she cried.

Messing up my Stuff

Iris is almost 11months in this photo. During this time she was learning to walk by herself and most of the time she loves to climb to anything she can. Chair. Table. Bed and this one below a plastic organizer. Me and Iris is actually using a sofa bed and this organizer is beside our sofa bed so when she wake up she'll climb in here.

..beside this organizer is my postcard box. One morning when I woke up the scene below is what I saw. She mess up my postcards and other stuff. For a moment I get angry and wanted to spank her but I realize I should not. Her age is just curious to anything they saw and that no matter how I say I am sure she'll just ignore me. hehehe..if her happiness is to mess up with my stuff then go ahead anak..nah! just kidding..I love my postcards! now my postcards is keep in a place where she can't reach them. She now has plenty of toys to mess around.

My Special Someone-Iris

I've been enojoying motherhood for almost 1year and 4 months now. Still there are moments that I still can't believe that I am raising this cute and adorable baby..indeed I am one lucky woman to have Iris.

I find my serenity when I'm with her. When she call's me ma-ma it's like music in my ears. Totoo pala yun! yung kilig at saya it's different!..I think only our child can do that to us. The sweetest word in my ears is when Iris is calling me "mam-ma"..Love you anak! much!

Anyway, I feel nostalgic today and in the mood to dig old photos and I found the first photo cute. I can't help but smile everytime I saw this photo. If other babies love sucking thier thumb my baby is different. She suck her middle and ring finger but not that long..she was like that for.. if I remember it right 2weeks. She is almost 3months in this photo.

My Little Iris, The Xplorer!

Photo below is one of the many kulitan of Iris and my sister Kiana. Kiana loves making fun of her niece. I guess sometimes she think Iris as a her doll toy. Look what she's done with Iris. She give her water container wear her backpack (one of Iris gift during her 1st birthday) and put that..what do you call that braided headband?..Kiana has a couple of that braided headband.

Kiana is a fan of Kathryn Bernardo (photo on the left) she imitates some of her idol fashions thus she buy a couple of braided headband and try it to Iris. Actually she wear this headband going to school!

Iris is 1year and 7days

Iris gamely follow what her Aunt do her. I was smiling seeing them together and Iris looks like Dora with that get up..except that Dora is wearing short while my Iris only wearing an underwear! :))

Lighting Toys

Thanks google! finally my baby blog is live again! Last week was horrible for me (OA lang) hehehe..losing my access to my blog was something I don't expect-just imagine all of a sudden your 3blogs was being remove/deleted without any notice. Heeelleerrr di ba?..

Anyway, during that period of time (around 10days of not blogging) my college friend arrive from Manila and we had sort of reunion not just the two of us but also with some close friends from college. It was fun to be with people you've never seen for a long time plus our kids especially my baby Iris is having so much fun seeing colorful lights at gov center. Anyway, I'll just make a post about our reunion in my main blog when I finally migrated it to WP.

I would just like to share some of Iris photo during our night picnik get together. While most of us is busy eating ang chatting Iris is also busy following the vendor of this toys. I think she's very curious of that stuff that keeps on lighting. Nope, there's no indication that she want me to buy it maybe because she had no idea yet of "I want it buy me that". She is silent looking at those dispaly toys I think she's just wondering and mesmerize? with different colors of that stuff. To fill her curiousity I bought her one.

Wine Please!

Hello! hope everyone's halloween is a party! party!..me and my lovelies just stay at home because Iris is not feeling well maybe the three of us will experience halloween party next year :P

Okay. Photo above was taken last year when Iris was just 2months and a half, my sister Kiana is very fond of Iris and she always play with her and make fun of the little one. Iris is so small pa this time that she has no control of whatever her Aunt wants to do with her just like photo above. Now Iris is a year old and has more control of herself, sometimes she would fight and shout with Kiana if she doesn't like what Kiana is doing to her..siempre naglalambing lang naman si Kiana but Iris find it irritating especially if Kiana keep on smooching her. ..and me?..of course I find them cute when they get along well..and irritates me sometimes when they fight..mga bata talaga.

Anyway, that empty wine bottle (Arbor Mist I think) was a gift from our customer. I never tasted it actually becuase the time that this was given to me I was pregnant with Iris.

Hello, Remote Control?

Isn't she cute? my baby is cute! oh please don't disagree..or else..hehehe..

This photo as stated on the picture was April 18 just this year 2011 Iris is almost 7months here. She just woke up when I took this photo. We had television before in my room that is why she has the remote control. During that time anything she hold she put it in her mouth, out of curiosity of course, which of course normal to any baby at this age. She also imagine that it is a cellphone and that we're calling her grandma (my mother) :P. Now that she's a year old she don't eat it she just throw it. (LOL)

KIDS: Sleepy and Books

It's been two weeks I think that Mama and I haven't join this KIDS. Mama is busy with her 2 wordpress blog Shengkayful..Life is Beautiful  and Postcard Lover, you might want to visit her blog and follow her. We will be happy if you do that.

Anyway, back to Kids in Doodle this photo was taken last Month June. I was having fun time browsing my books and feel sleepy afterwards. Mama bought this book when she receive incentive from her work. My favorite book is the one with lots of puppy and cats on it.

Saw orange fish? That's clownfish! that is also a book, though it has bright color I don't really like it. I think it's perfect for mama's Orange Tuesdays.

 

Colorful Stacking Toy

One of my favorite toys is this colorful stacking toy. Mama bought this last March when I am about to receive my baptism.

I love this because sometimes I made this as my bangle and put it in my legs as anklet sometimes. I also love to lick this toy..it's color is so yummy! The bear riding in a car is Lotso from Toy story movie. Will feature some of my toy Toy Story character next time.

See my Anutie Kiana? sleeping? yeah! she's busy sleeping while I am busy playing. Hehehe.
