How Old Are You?

How time flies really fast no?..it seems yesterday when I gave birth to this little angel and now she is turning 2! (tomorrow-Sept.24) Wow as in wow! celebration? nothing! :P we already had our vacation last September 5-9 at Baguio and that was it. 

Dear Baby Iris,

Happy birthday 'Nak! Parang kelan lang nag 1st birthday ka at bukas 2nd birthday mo na. As always you make mama happy, ang kulit-kulit mo na rin minsan nakaka-ubos ka rin ng pasensya sa sobrang kakulitan mo pero keribels lang ni Mama. Kahit na gaano ka pa ka-kulit love na love ka pa rin ni mama. I pray that you grow up as happy baby, a wise and GODfearing person and with a forgiving heart. Thank you baby for always making mama happy and sorry also for mama's shortcomings. Basta, I am always here for you baby no matter what. Above anything else you are the most important person in my life. Love you baby ko and happy birthday! mwah!

My Joy and Happiness

Today is Iris 13th month in this crazy yet beautiful world. More than that, it is an amazing journey of motherhood for me. Ups and downs and all..thank GOD because I was able to survive it all! Looking back, worse that I experience as a mom was when Iris has this kind of skin desease/allergy of sort. It was really heart breaking to see her in that situation. Aside from that also financially draining becuase her medicine is very expensive. I remember I tried to ask help from his father but as expected to no avail. Anyway, those we're just water under the bridge. Me and my baby is now fine.

Photo above is taken when Iris is just 1-15days old. Very memorable. First glance. First touch. First photo opps of course. 

Oct. 2010-Preparing Iris to sleep. Nov.2010-One boring afternoon and mama has nothing to do :P. Dec.2010-First Christmas day photo. Photo opp before we visit my step dad. Jan.2011-I put her bib because she drools a lot during that time.

Feb.2011-One fine day (12noon) photo opps before I go to work. March 2011- after Ash Wednesday mass. April 2011-First beach escapade of Iris (Black Saturday_ It was Iris first long trip also at age 7months. May 2011-Mothers day date, it was that time also that I hear Iris say Mama. What a gift on mothers day!

June, July, and August 2011- Bonding moments at home!

Sept. 24-Iris big day! her First birthday! Thanks to all my friends and Iris godparents who help me in celebrating Iris bday! as in thank you!

Iris First Bday

Welcome back to my Baby's blog! It's been 2months since the last time I updated this blog. Shame on me! Anyway, I don't promise to really update this everyday but at least twice or thrice a week I will post something about my Iris. Especially that she's now 1 year old. I will update this blog of her milestone. I had plenty of photo to share here for the past two months. I owe my baby big time for neglecting her online journal.

Photo I share here today is from Iris first birthday last September 24, 2011. I have a lot to share but for now I choose this two photos. Thanks to Ninang Bel for this yummy cake. Iris was amaze to see this Tinker Bell theme cake.

Iris Turns Eight Months Today!

Iris turns 8months today and I want to thank GOD because she is very healthy and a very behave baby. She gave me no headache. Happy birthday baby Aying!

It’s been 8 months that I am enjoying motherhood and I feel really bless for that at the same time kinda hard especially raising a baby alone. You know financially. There are really times that I am financially drain that even diaper of Iris I can’t buy unless I borrow money from my friend. But it’s okay during that moment that is the time I feel GODs grace to me and my baby. He really provides our needs. But you know despite all the hardship that I encounter as a mother at the end of the day I am still grateful that I am a mother.

Anyways, here the list of Iris can do at 8months and her milestones:

•  She can utter mammaa and just babble anything she think like nanana..ummm..
• She eats solid food. Rice, Soft veggies, fruits. She drinks plenty of water too! She can drink 175ml of water in one session.
• She weighs now 8.1 kilo. But afraid that she loss weight because she is teething.
• And yes she is teething. She had one teeth and the other one is ready to sprout.
• She crawls fast; she can sit alone and stand alone holding in her bamboo crib.
• She likes to go out.
• She knows how to pa-cute to all of us.

Iris is really a darling to us that surrounds her and because of her my relationship to my stepfather and my other siblings is getting better. I am grateful that they love my daughter. Iris needs love and security aside from me because she only have me in her life.

Again, happy birthday Anak. Mama loves you so much! Mwah!
