Thrifty Little Fashionista

Kids nowadays are far different in my time, in OUR time actually :P . Kikay is out of  our lingo. No cellphone, no Ipad, no Tablet (the only tablet I know is a medicine-LOL) and most of all no social media. And oh, diary or journal I know is only keep under the pillow, or in the aparador but now? hello blogoshere.

Anyway, just like any blogger mom, I am one proud mama to my daughter! When I was Iris age I don't have idea on photo blah blah, not to mention that during that time digicam was not yet invented I guess. We use camera with film! LOL. But kids today as early as 1year old they know selfie selfie stuff already.

Of course, my daughter hindi yan pahuhuli if its about picture taking. She would always ask me to take her a picture and she'll say she's a model and that she is pretty and sexy. All the photo above are all her idea. I am just a photographer. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't usually dress her like that. Most of the time she will just wear shirt, leggings and a flip flop footwear. Her skirt is a bet short actually (she has this when she is only 2years old) so I just bought her a knee sock to match with her top and to make use of her old skirt. Her shoes was a gift from my sister last December.

How Old Are You?

How time flies really fast no?..it seems yesterday when I gave birth to this little angel and now she is turning 2! (tomorrow-Sept.24) Wow as in wow! celebration? nothing! :P we already had our vacation last September 5-9 at Baguio and that was it. 

Dear Baby Iris,

Happy birthday 'Nak! Parang kelan lang nag 1st birthday ka at bukas 2nd birthday mo na. As always you make mama happy, ang kulit-kulit mo na rin minsan nakaka-ubos ka rin ng pasensya sa sobrang kakulitan mo pero keribels lang ni Mama. Kahit na gaano ka pa ka-kulit love na love ka pa rin ni mama. I pray that you grow up as happy baby, a wise and GODfearing person and with a forgiving heart. Thank you baby for always making mama happy and sorry also for mama's shortcomings. Basta, I am always here for you baby no matter what. Above anything else you are the most important person in my life. Love you baby ko and happy birthday! mwah!

KIDS: Sleepy and Books

It's been two weeks I think that Mama and I haven't join this KIDS. Mama is busy with her 2 wordpress blog Shengkayful..Life is Beautiful  and Postcard Lover, you might want to visit her blog and follow her. We will be happy if you do that.

Anyway, back to Kids in Doodle this photo was taken last Month June. I was having fun time browsing my books and feel sleepy afterwards. Mama bought this book when she receive incentive from her work. My favorite book is the one with lots of puppy and cats on it.

Saw orange fish? That's clownfish! that is also a book, though it has bright color I don't really like it. I think it's perfect for mama's Orange Tuesdays.

 

My Precious Moment

KID: Alone in my Crib

 

Hello everyone! how was your day? me just fine. Yesterday Mama Shengkay and I go to my well baby clinic at Riveside for my catch up HIB immunization. I should have my HIB injection last May 10 but was postpone due to financial constraint and that time I had "apok-apok" its like a chicken pox but worse than chicken pox-seems like skin infection and it's gross to look at. The money intented for my HIB was use for my medicine.

Thank you Papa Jesus because finally I had my HIB injection and my "apok-apok" healed already. For now Mama is saving for my next HIB immunization which will be on July 6.

Messy Go Round: Donut Again!

I think if theres one food that I love to eat that is Donut. If you remember my first messy go round is I ate donut too. I even wear the same yellow tee.

 

..the only difference is that my first Messy go Round is I ate filled donut while in this photo I eat Munchins. We always had donut because my Wowa Auntie's husband-my tatay work for Dunkin Donut. He is a foreman in making donut (production). Don't ask me why foreman. Mama just read it in his ID. :)

..hmmm..yum! yum!

..and now I really look messy already. Time to shower and play with water!

Orange Tuesdays: 2weeks Iris

My Mama Shengkay is hosting her own color meme and I support her 100%. In behalf of my Mama we would like to thank all mommies and friends who join her. As I can see it its a success! I'm sure Mama is very happy with that.

To support her I also had my entry. As mention in her Shengkay's Journal blog orange is not our favorate color but we have plnety of it in our house. See my beddings?.Mama actually bought thiswhen  she was not sure of my gender and to play safe she just bought this in this color so that when I happen to be a boy its still okay.

Iris Turns Eight Months Today!

Iris turns 8months today and I want to thank GOD because she is very healthy and a very behave baby. She gave me no headache. Happy birthday baby Aying!

It’s been 8 months that I am enjoying motherhood and I feel really bless for that at the same time kinda hard especially raising a baby alone. You know financially. There are really times that I am financially drain that even diaper of Iris I can’t buy unless I borrow money from my friend. But it’s okay during that moment that is the time I feel GODs grace to me and my baby. He really provides our needs. But you know despite all the hardship that I encounter as a mother at the end of the day I am still grateful that I am a mother.

Anyways, here the list of Iris can do at 8months and her milestones:

•  She can utter mammaa and just babble anything she think like nanana..ummm..
• She eats solid food. Rice, Soft veggies, fruits. She drinks plenty of water too! She can drink 175ml of water in one session.
• She weighs now 8.1 kilo. But afraid that she loss weight because she is teething.
• And yes she is teething. She had one teeth and the other one is ready to sprout.
• She crawls fast; she can sit alone and stand alone holding in her bamboo crib.
• She likes to go out.
• She knows how to pa-cute to all of us.

Iris is really a darling to us that surrounds her and because of her my relationship to my stepfather and my other siblings is getting better. I am grateful that they love my daughter. Iris needs love and security aside from me because she only have me in her life.

Again, happy birthday Anak. Mama loves you so much! Mwah!
